# Stripe - registration, verification and login

Stripe is the online payment provider used by Zoyya. This article explains how to start Stripe from the Zoyya partner web application on desktop or mobile, complete verification, and confirm that the account is ready for online payments.

## When to use this option

Use these steps when connecting Stripe for the first time, when **Stripe account set up** is not green, when Stripe requests additional information, or when you need to open an already connected Stripe account.

## Start registration and verification

1. Open the prepayment screen:
   * on desktop: **Settings > Branch data > Prepayments**;
   * on mobile: **Main menu > Business > Settings > Branch data > Prepayments**.
2. Find the **Stripe account set up** status.
3. Click **Set up using this link**.
4. Enter the information requested by Stripe and follow the displayed steps.
   > **Important in the first verification step:** When Stripe asks for a document that confirms the responsible person's identity, upload their **identity card**. It confirms the identity of the person opening the account. Upload address, business entity, or bank account documents when Stripe requests them in the corresponding step.
5. When finished, return to the **Prepayments** screen in Zoyya.
6. Check the **Stripe account set up** status.

During registration, Stripe verifies the responsible person's details, the business entity, and the bank account that receives payouts. This process is known as KYC, or **Know Your Customer**. Required documents can vary depending on the type of business and the information Stripe needs to verify.

## When the status is not green

A red error next to **Stripe account set up** means that connection or verification is not complete, or that Stripe requires another action.

1. Click **Set up using this link**.
2. Complete the displayed steps or provide the requested information in Stripe.
3. Return to Zoyya and check the status again.

The same button can open the beginning of registration, continue verification, or open the connected Stripe account, depending on what remains to be completed.

## When the status has a green tick

A green tick means that the Stripe account is connected and payments are enabled for use in Zoyya. You can then click **Log in to Stripe account** to review transactions, payouts, the bank account, and other account information in Stripe.

## When Stripe is ready but online payments in Zoyya are not ready

A completed Stripe account is not the only requirement for online payments. The business premises for online payments must also be registered, and their code must be sent to Zoyya Support.

1. Complete [business premises registration for online payments](https://help.zoyya.com/en/article/registering-business-premises-for-online-payments-10famdl/).
2. Send the registered business premises code to Zoyya Support.
3. On **Prepayments**, check the **Data required for issuing receipts** status.

If **Stripe account set up** is green but **Data required for issuing receipts** is not ready, Zoyya Support needs to complete the receipt-issuing configuration.
