# How to delete a service (mobile)

In this article, you will learn how to delete a service in the Zoyya partner web app on mobile and what remains in the records afterwards.

## Before deleting a service

Delete a service when it will no longer be offered. To remove it from online booking only temporarily, edit the service and turn off **Online booking** by following the related article.

Check whether the service is used in gift card or service package templates. If the connection remains, the template no longer has a complete active offer for future issuing or online sales. Gift cards and packages that were already issued keep the services and details with which they were created.

## Steps

1. Open the **Main menu**.
2. Under **Business**, tap **Settings**, then under **Price list**, tap **Services**.
3. Open the service type and select the service you want to delete.
4. Tap **Delete**.
5. Check the service name and confirm.

## What happens after deletion?

* the service is no longer available for new appointments or online booking
* it is removed from active employee and resource connections
* past and future appointments are not deleted, cancelled, or moved automatically
* existing appointments retain their saved price, duration, discount, employee, and resource
* previously issued receipts and sales history remain unchanged

|| Important: Check future appointments that use the service before deleting it. If an appointment must be changed, open it in the calendar and select another active service.
