# How to create a service package (mobile)

In this article, you will learn how to create a service package from a template or without a template in the **Zoyya partner web app on a mobile phone**.

A package contains predefined services and the number of times each service can be used. You can select a client while creating the package or leave it without an owner and associate it with a client later.

## Opening a new package

1. Open the **Main menu**.
2. Under **Sales and loyalty**, expand **Gift cards and packages**, then tap **Sales**.
3. Tap **+**.
4. Select **From template** or **Without template**.
5. Tap **Continue**.

## Creating from a template

1. Select the service package template.
2. Tap **Next step**. **Client selection** opens.
3. Select a client if needed.
4. If you selected a client and want to send the package information, enable **Send email to client**.
5. Tap **Next step**.
6. Review the information.
7. Tap **Create gift card**. This final button creates the selected service package.

The package information is copied from the template. To change it, edit the template before issue by following [How to create a service package template (mobile)](https://zoyya.crisp.help/en/article/how-to-create-a-service-package-template-for-online-sales-mobile-1y6y96o/).

## Creating without a template

1. Select **Service package** to open **Basic information**.
2. Enter the **Name**, set the **Validity**, then tap **Next step**.
3. In **Package contents**, add the services and set the number of uses for each service.
4. Review the automatically calculated **Value**, set the **Price** and add a **Discount** if needed.
5. Tap **Next step**.
6. Edit the **Description** and **Terms of use**, then tap **Next step**.
7. Select a design or upload your own image, adjust the displayed text and tap **Next step**.
8. Select a client if needed and enable **Send email to client**.
9. Tap **Next step**.
10. Review the information and tap **Create gift card**. This final button creates the service package.

The new package receives a unique Zoyya code and appears in **Gift card and service package sales**.

|| Important: Selecting a client is optional. A package without an owner can be sold or assigned to a client later.

|| If you charge the package in the cash register, charge it and issue the receipt before linking it to an appointment or recording its use.

## Frequently asked questions

### When is a template useful?

A template speeds up issue when you often use the same contents, price, validity, terms or package design.

### Does editing a template change packages that were already created?

No. An issued package keeps the information it had when it was created.

### How do I change the validity date of an existing package?

1. Open the relevant service package.
2. Change its status from **Active** to **In preparation**.
3. Change the **validity date**.
4. Set the status back to **Active** and select **Save**.

|| Important: The changed validity applies only to the selected package. It does not change the template or other issued packages.
